manaweb塾 国際交流イベント ［Nepal］
2月15日(土)に、Nepal出身のSume［スミ］ティーチャーが来てくれました！
Nepal語でのあいさつや、
Nepal語のおもしろワードを教えてもらいました！
子ども達も「えー？！」とか「なにそれー！」とか
わいわい楽しく学ぶことができました♪
それから、Sumeティーチャーの家族がNepalで滞在していたときの話も聞くことができました！
そこで！Sumeティーチャーの息子 Sumedh［スメディ］くんにも、Nepalと日本の学校の違いを教えてもらいました！！
人づてに聞く情報ではなく、スメディくんの「体験談」なので、子ども達も一生懸命聞いていました！！！
Nepalでの人気なスポーツやアクティビティも、日本とは全然ちがう！！
日本では馴染みのないスポーツ”クリケット”や、
日本でイメージしている”山登り”とネパールの実際の”山登り”の違いも、子ども達は興味津々に聞いていました☆
また、この国際交流イベントでは、
子ども達が英語をキレイに話せるかどうかではなく、
「外国語を使って、相手にコミュニケーションを取ってみた」
「うまく伝わらないときは、ジェスチャーもして頑張って伝えられた」
こんな経験をたくさん積みあげてほしいと考えています。
このたくさんの”TRY ”が、子ども達の成長につながるからです！！

Sume teacher came to our event!
She is from Nepal.
So she told me the greeting in Nepal.
Children also learned the interesting words.
It was so fun!
Sume teacher introduced when she has stayed in Nepal.
And then, her son, Sumedh also introduced the differences between schools of Nepal and Japan.
It seemed interesting for children.
They were listening to his talking.
Listening to the “experience” directly from someone who has experienced actually is very important.
Besides,
in this event,
We want children to experience a lot.
For example,
“I communicated with someone through a foreign language.
“Speaking in English was difficult, but I tried to do gesture!”
Like that!
Children will be improving if they “TRY” many times!
